| This was the ninth Annual Show at Ballaghaderreen and it took place on Wednesday 11th September. Admission to the Show was 1 shilling, admission to the Grand Stand was 2 shillings and the Catalogue was sixpence. There were 158 different classes under some of the following headings - woodwork, wickerwork, butter, farm produce, jam, wine, honey, horses, pigs, poultry, sheep and Most Useful Article Made from a Flour Bag. The Grand Annual Dance was in St. Mary's Hall - Music by Bert Flynn and his Band, hours 10 to 4, admission 5 shillings. | |
